BC Home Energy Audits

Our home energy audits combine field diagnostics and advanced energy modeling to uncover savings opportunities, improve comfort, and qualify you for CleanBC and BC Hydro rebates.

1. Initial Consultation & Scheduling

Contact us to discuss your home, goals, and timeline. We’ll schedule a convenient on‑site audit date and gather preliminary information on your building envelope and systems.

2. Comprehensive On‑Site Inspection

Our certified auditor visits your home to review insulation, windows, doors, HVAC, and ductwork. We perform blower door testing and use thermal imaging to pinpoint air leaks and heat loss areas.

3. Diagnostics & Data Collection

We collect data on airtightness (ACH50), surface temperatures, and system performance. Detailed measurements ensure accuracy in your energy model and retrofit recommendations.

4. Analysis & Energy Modeling

Back in the office, we build a custom energy model of your home, quantify savings potential, and compare upgrade scenarios—insulation, windows, heat pumps, and more.

5. Report & Recommendations

You receive a clear, prioritized report: cost‑benefit of each measure, rebate/incentive info, projected savings, and payback periods. Our recommendations align with Step 9 and Step 3 compliance pathways.

6. Follow‑Up & Implementation Support

We help you select qualified contractors, coordinate rebates (CleanBC, BC Hydro), and verify installed measures. A final blower door test confirms performance improvements.
