Current Home Renovation Rebates
Select upgrades are eligible for the following rebate amounts:
- Windows and Doors – Up to $3,000
- Heat Pumps – Up to $4,000
- Insulation – Up to $5,500
- Heat Pump Water Heaters – Up to $1,000

Is Your Home Eligible?
To qualify for the Home Renovation Rebate Program:
- Your home must be primarily heated by electricity (e.g., electric baseboards or furnaces).
- You must have an active BC Hydro account and live in an eligible property type (not an apartment/condo).
- Rebates vary by the type of heating fuel:
- Electric: Funded by BC Hydro
- Natural gas: Funded by FortisBC
- Oil/propane to electric conversion: Funded by CleanBC

How to Apply
After completing your upgrades:
- Submit a rebate application online.
- Apply once for rebates from BC Hydro, FortisBC, and CleanBC Better Homes.
